My favourite skincare products

Over the years, I have tried many skincare products in my quest to have clear, healthy and radiant skin. These are my favourite skincare products I have found that help me to have the skin of dreams! 😍

  1. Paula’s Choice Pore Reducing Toner
Paula's Choice pore reducing toner

I have large pores and I’ve been searching foreverrr for a way to calm them down a bit. I saw this toner had good reviews online so I thought why not try it. Boy I have been converted as not only does this help my pores it also makes my skin look smooth, healthy, glowyyy. Like sometimes I look in the mirror and I think “wow is this really my skin?” This toner has literally restored my faith in toners.

A key ingredient in this toner is niacinamide. This ingredient keeps oil regulated, niacinamide also strengthens the skin barrier which keeps moisture in the skin and prevents things not so good for the skin like pollution out of the skin. As if this wasn’t enough, niacinamide also slows down aging through a host of benefits such as improving cell turnover. To top it all off, niacinamide also helps with hyperpigmentation and is anti-inflammatory.

2. Benton Fermentation Essence

Benton fermentation essence

Essence is used after toner and before serum. Why use an essence? It hydrates the skin so that the products that you use after (serum, moisturiser) are absorbed better by the skin. They also come with a lot of other skin benefits too. My favourite Benton Fermentation Essence helps skin look more radiant, boosts elasticity and protects the skin from anything harmful in the environment.

3. Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum

Pyunkang Yul moisture serum

I love the brand Pyunkang Yul, it was developed by the Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic because they wanted to create products with minimum ingredients that still nourished the skin. Every ingredient used in their products are gentle and safe for all skin types. I love this serum as it helps the skin find the optimum proportion of moisture and oil, and I know there’s no ingredients in there that could be harmful to the skin!

4. Fenty Skin Moisturiser

Fenty skin moisturiser

You can’t really go wrong with Rihanna can you? This moisturiser feels amazing on my skin and I love that it comes with SPF 30 as it’s so important to protect the skin from the sun to prevent premature aging. My girl Rihanna thinks of all the details huh.

Lush ingredients in this moisturiser: Kalahari melon, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and aloe, and baobab. Over time this moisturiser reduces pores, dark spots, improves fine lines, wrinkles and skin elasticity.

5. Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Sleep and Reveal Night Cream

Super Facialist vitamin C+ sleep and reveal night cream

I like to use a night cream to refresh my skin while I sleep and leave it glowing the next day. I like the brand Super Facialist as they have good quality products that don’t break the bank. But anyway it’s a night cream so I don’t have too much more to say on this 😊

6. Soap and Glory Scrub In the Fast Lane Facial Scrub

7. Kora Organics Turmeric Brightening and Exfoliating Mask

Kora Organics turmeric brightening and exfoliating mask

When I have a bit more time I love to use this mask by Miranda Kerr (btw so gorgeous). The key ingredient is turmeric which brightens, calms the skin, and helps protect against environmental aging. As you may have noticed by now I’m a huge fan of clean beauty and this mask ain’t contain no nasties. Also, if you’re into this kind of stuff, all of Miranda’s products are energized with rose quartz to infuse love to you when you use the product.
